Music Programs


FSC offers many ways for musically-talented members to become involved. Following is a summary of our existing musical groups, none of which require an audition.

Adult Choir

Director: Marilyn Ossentjuk
For adults who want a long-term church choir experience
Rehearses Thursdays from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Performs at the 11:00 a.m. worship service almost every Sunday from September through June

Oratorio Choir

Director: Marilyn Ossentjuk
For adults who want a short-term, focused choral experience
Rehearses Saturdays from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. starting in January
Performs choral masterworks, often accompanied by professional orchestras

Care Choir

Director: Marilyn Ossentjuk 
For individuals who have a love for singing and wish to share their music with people who are going through difficult situations
Rehearses once a month from 2:30-4:00 p.m.
Makes musical visits once a month

Young Singers Choir

Director: Marilyn Ossentjuk
For children grades 1st-6th
Rehearses Sundays from 9:30-10:05 a.m.
Performs at the 11:00 a.m. worship service several times throughout the year

junior choir

Cherub Choir

Director: Sarah Maurice
For children ages 3-kindergarten
Rehearses Sundays from 10:10-10:30 a.m.
Performs in the 11:00 a.m. worship service on the last Sunday before Christmas and Mother's Day

Handbell Choir

Director: Marilyn Ossentjuk
For adult, high school, and middle school ringers
No prior bell ringing experience is necessary
Rehearses Sundays from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Performs at the Christmas Eve worship service and the 11:00 a.m. worship service

Instrumental Ensemble

Director: We are currently looking for a volunteer to direct this group
For adults and students who play band or orchestra instruments
Rehearses Sundays after the 11:00 a.m. worship service
Performs once in the fall and once in the spring at the 11:00 a.m. worship service
