Heather Barretta joined the FSC staff in 2002. As Events Coordinator, Heather is responsible for booking, hosting and administrating all events, weddings and memorial services as well as scheduling the use of the building. Active in both the church community and their home town of Rockford, Heather and her teenage son can otherwise be found riding or skating the White Pine Trail, pulling trout from the Rogue river or hunting for antiques throughout the state. In addition to her other responsibilities Heather also works with church volunteers to administer the FSC website. Feel free to contact her with any inquiries. |

Pamela Clark has called Fountain Street Church her spiritual home for most of her life. She was raised in the church, married in 1975 in our Sanctuary, and has been an active member since she moved back to West Michigan in 2000. Pamela is married to Ron who serves as an Usher for the church. Pamela and Ron have two grown sons (Adam and Kyle), two daughter-in-laws (Kimberly and Katy) and two grandchildren (Mason and Addison). Pamela‘s background is in volunteer management. She served as the Director of Volunteer Services for a school district in Eastern Michigan while living in the Ann Arbor area. Upon her return to Grand Rapids she agreed to develop a shared ministry program for the church which is now known as the Beyond Sunday Shared Ministry program. Pamela spent two years co-creating this program along with her friend and fellow church member Jan Proli. Pamela has served as the Executive Director for the church since 2005. Ron and Pamela reside in Cannon Township, just outside of Rockford. In her spare time Pamela loves to spend time at the family cottage on Lake Michigan, sail, read, travel and spend time with her children and grandchildren. |

Melissa joined us in July 2006. She came to us with ten years of accounting experience, a degree in HR Management, a degree in Paralegal studies and is in the process of obtaining her degree in Accounting. Melissa and her daughter Thea live in Wyoming, where you can find them playing with their dog and several cats, reading or walking in the neighborhood. |

Gail McConnell has been a member of the FSC office staff for 21 + years. She is responsible for the monthly newsletter (The Chimes), the weekly ‘Order of Service’ and ‘Weekly Notes’ as well as the weekly printed sermons. She maintains our membership database and handles all church-wide communications as well as the Extension Service mailing list. She has two sons and daughters-in-law as well as three grandchildren. She enjoys reading, sewing, making porcelain dolls, and nurturing her bonsai trees. |

Marilyn has been on the music staff at Fountain Street Church since 2001. In addition to overseeing the entire music program at the Church, she provides organ and piano music for worship services and accompanies the Adult Choir for all performances, including the annual Memorial Concert. She has directed the Adult Choir and organizes and directs other vocal and handbell groups as needed. She also accompanies all the youth choirs. She especially appreciates the variety of musical styles which are used in worship at Fountain Street Church to touch people's hearts and souls. Marilyn holds a Masters Degree (with honors) in Church Music, with an emphasis in Organ, from the University of Michigan. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees (with honors) in Music Education and in German from Calvin College. A member of the music honor society Pi Kappa Lambda, she is active in the American Guild of Organists and the National Music Teachers Association. She also sings with the St. Cecilia Bach Chorale. Marilyn frequently performs and accompanies for varied venues including churches, college and community choral groups, and recitals. She has performed on organ throughout the Midwest as well as in North Germany and Holland. She will play harpsichord continuo with the Grand Rapids Symphony for several performances in Fall, 2007. Besides her church employment, Marilyn teaches a large independent studio of organ and piano students and has taught at Grand Rapids Community College and at Calvin College's Knollcrest Music Camp. |

Gigi Owen is FSC's newest hire. As the Administrative Assistant manning the front office, Gigi assists FSC staff and clergy with administrative tasks and never runs short on patience or kind smiles. She may be contacted with all general inquiries related to the church and is always happy to assist our callers. In her spare time, Gigi enjoys entertaining in her home, traveling outside her home, reading, listening to music and being with family and friends. She says her "biggest joy" in life is the volunteer work she does for local charities, but she is enjoying her time at FSC immensely as well. "What a great place to be!" Gigi says! |

Paula Roelands has attended Fountain Street Church since childhood, and has been active in many roles in the church community, more recently including Character School, curriculum development, Youth Education Committee, and Beyond Sunday Shared Ministries. "My hope is to bridge connections and help grow an even greater spirit of community within the membership of this wonderful and unique entity known as Fountain Street, and to provide opportunities to share from the heart -- both within and outside the walls of our magnificent church home." In the community, she has served as PTA President, Treasurer and parent liaison in the Grand Rapids Public Schools, and has served on the Fulton Heights Neighborhood Association Board of Directors, where she maintains a limited volunteer role. She has a strong interest in community development, as "it nourishes the soul." Paula's husband of 20 year is Peter, a pilot, whom she met and married at Cannonsburg Ski area, where they currently both teach skiing part-time each winter as Certified Professional Ski Instructors. Their children are Tyan (a Fountain Club member and Tech assistant at FSC), Pagiel (a Tower Club member and occasional child care helper at FSC), and Anika (actively making friends in the Voyage of Discovery group). When not snow skiing, much of her time is claimed by her family, horses, gardening, and freelance landscape design. |

Sarah Stanton joined us in October 2007 as Rev. Fred's Wooden's assistant. In addition to keeping our minister on task, she is an active member of our Communications Committee and Caring Ministry Team, where she has taken over the role of Pastoral Care Dispatcher. Sarah moved to West Michigan from suburban Detroit in 2005 and spent two years nannying her niece and nephew before making her way to Fountain Street Church. She is a professional freelance writer off the clock who derives an "insane" amount of happiness spending time with her boyfriend, Ben, doting on her cat, Sabre, and writing fiction or memoirs into the late-night hours. |

Lydia’s love for Fountain Street Church shows in her dedication to her work. She prides herself on her exceptional organizational skills. Her goal is to make every family part of the church community by offering an outstanding children’s program. Lydia holds a Business Management Degree from Grand Valley State University, which serves her well in her role as the Character School Director. Lydia and her husband Roger are busy raising their four girls, Christiane, Bianca, Kathleen and Erica and tending to the many activities in which they are involved. |
