From September to the end of June, Traditional Worship Services are held in the Sanctuary each Sunday from 11 a.m. to noon. Song and spoken word are emphasized in an atmosphere of beauty and dignity. An magnificent organ, adult, teen, and junior choirs and guest artists perform both traditional and contemporary music. Sermons draw from Biblical and modern literature. People of diverse theological persuasions find the experience inspiring and spiritual.
Special Sunday Services are held on Mother's Day, when children are formally dedicated, and on Memorial Day and Thanksgiving Sundays. The four festive Sundays of Christmas Advent season culminate in a candlelight Christmas Eve Service. Palm Sunday and Easter are celebrated, as are Yom Kippur and Passover. We also host a special "Reverence for Life" Service in April, when our fellow earth-dwelling animal and plant companions are welcome to join us in the Sanctuary to be honored and blessed.
Early Worship
Our electrifying and energizing Worship Service for everyone begins at 9:45 a.m. in the Chapel every Sunday. The message of the Sermon will match that of the 11:00 a.m. Service. Check it out!
E-Worship needs YOU! Thanks to an overwhelmingly positive congregational response, and the time and talent of a great Planning Team, E-Worship will continue next fall! To keep bringing you great Services though, we need your input. Whether you have attended E-Worship once, occasionally, weekly, or never, please complete this brief survey and return to Gigi Owen in the Church Office. It will help us understand who is there and not, what's working and what isn't, what we can improve and keep, and who is interested in helping out! The results will be used by your E-Worship Planning Team over the summer.
