Organic Living

"We must be the change we wish to see in the world."
— Mahatma Ghandi

Mission Statement

Our Group consists of Fountain Street Church members as well as friends from the West Michigan community. We strive to live an organic life. Acting on this ideal, we:

- Organize educational programs on a variety of topics including food options, lawncare, composting, and cooking to increase the knowledge of an organic, sustainable life;

  • Gather together for meals to share in the joy of eating organically and/or locally;
  • Act as a liaison between our members and organic resource groups;
  • Notify our e-mail distribution list of legislation affecting organic/local/sustainable life issues; and
  • Organize special events for our members and friends who are part of community supported agriculture.
