Infants and Toddlers
Parents or caretakers may drop off infants and toddlers prior to the start of the worship service
in a wonderful space on the 2nd Floor. The Nursery is staffed with CPR/First Aid certified
Caregivers and they will care for children with loving hands and voices.
The Nursery has wonderful, exquisite children who love to read books and color pictures. They are engaging in their first friendship attempts and love to be held and cuddled.

Three year olds: What is Our Church?
Our young congregants will explore their church home. The children will discover FSC as a
place to wonder, to learn, to celebrate life, to imagine, and to serve.
The 3 year old classroom is being transformed into a place to ‘Wonder
and ask Questions,’ the units range from ‘Stars, Moon, Rainbows to Love
and Companionship.’ The Teddy Bears take over in the spring with a
picnic, a teddy bear lending a helping hand and getting lost. Lots of
bear hugs to give and take.

Pre-K/Four-Year Olds: The Family of Life.
The children will discover the diversity of families and individuals, and all life on earth. They
will learn about the goodness of life and how they can steward the earth and its creatures.
The Pre-K children will explore the wonderful differences between all
people; might it be the skin colors or abilities or various family
formations. The spring time brings a flurry of activities from learning
how to care for the Earth to preparing for Mother’s Day.

Kindergarten: The Meaning of “Home.”
The children in this age range will discover that everybody has a home. It might be a bird’s
nest; a house; a tree or many other forms. What makes a ‘home’ is a question the children will ponder throughout the year.
Building is the theme with our Kindergarten class at the beginning of
the new year. The children will have a chance to use their
imaginations and will build their own city with lots of cardboard
boxes . Come and see the fun. Later in the spring, the children will
try foods from around the world and learn about other World Cultures.
Sundays, 10:50 A.M. – 12:15 P.M, Room 204
