Infant through Kindergarten

Child Care

We offer a welcoming environment with lots of free play, books and craft projects so parents
can attend our adult education programs on Sunday morning.

Sundays, 9:40 – 10:50 A.M., Room 203

Nursery – We offer nursery care for children from birth to age 2 each Sunday morning on the second floor from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  At least one paid nursery care worker (CPR and 1st Aid certified) is present along with volunteers depending on the number of children.  We may ask that you donate some time in the nursery depending on your availability and our staffing.  It’s a light, airy and beautiful place to spend some time in a Sunday morning.

Pre-School & Kindergarten – Ministry to and with our pre-school and kindergarten aged children is the beginning of learning about religion and religious community and religious leaders.  Through free play, dramatic play, stories, meditation and even snack, young children can learn, grow and explore.  We invite children to explore issues of fairness, kindness, service, and working with people who are different than them.  This year we will begin incorporating some aspects of a model of education inspired by the Reggio Emilia school in Reggio, Italy.
