Winter Greetings!
There are many opportunities for spiritual growth here at Fountain Street Church. This time of wintering provides an annual opportunity to go inward, to tend to the inner growth of your soul. I am reminded of the bulbs planted in the autumn. How amazing that those rough, dirty bundles actually carry within them life that will burst forth in the spring after a long time in darkness.
So, too, it is with our lives. Many times the darkest months…even years…prove fruitful in surprising and unexpected ways.
Take the time to care for yourself this season. Deepen. Give yourself the gift of time spent in contemplation, learning and service.
Whether your soul cries out for meditative time, for stimulating thoughts or for experiences with the arts…listen to it.
Join us in this adventure of religious and soul-ful living.
Welcome to Winter and Spring at Fountain Street Church.
Peace, Faith & Passion,
Matthew

Children's Collection Continues......
Don't forget folks, the children's collection continues! The children of FSC have raised funds which have been donated to the Humane Society, In the Image, and other local charities. Please help us continue to nurture generous spirits, a culture of stewardship, and the recognition that sacrifice is part of spiritual living. Grown-ups: talk with your kids about sharing some of their money or allowance with others. The offering is taken each week during the large group gathering on the 3rd floor. Thank you!
