What are you looking for?

Freedom to doubt as well as believe? Fountain Street Church believes that “whatever is true is God’s word, no matter who said it.” Doubt and belief work hand in hand to free the mind.

A place to grow your Soul, not just save it? Fountain Street Church believes we each want to live “in spirit and in truth.” Spiritual life is a journey, not a destination. We don’t save souls. We grow them.

To live in a way that makes a difference? Fountain Street Church believes that "the secret to a meaningful life is to spend it on something larger than your own."  Everyone has something to give that can change the world. We want to turn this dream into reality, not just for ourselves but for everyone.

Winter is Coming!

Of necessity, we must have a policy for closing when we are inundated with snow.  We will CONSIDER closing the church building if the Grand Rapids Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather conditions.  If the day seems to improve and you would like to verify whether or not an event will indeed proceed at its scheduled time, you may check by calling the church office and then entering the "Building Closings" mailbox number, which is 350.  You may then listen to the current activity status of all functions occurring in the church building that day.  Also, all cancellations will be posted on Channels 8 and 13.  Sunday Worship WILL NOT be cancelled unless the police department has declared a state of emergency.
